Squash

From 19 February 16 April every Tuesday 9:30 I and some others round the school go to play and train for squash.

I decided to do squash for a new experience and learn to play squash.

It was very interesting and sort of hard at first and then it got easier throughout the season.

Also it was quite fun when we had to do rallies which is when you verse someone else.

I think squash is a good game and think you should give it a try.

Art Gallery Exhibition

Homework Task

Mauao

On Sunday 16th June me and mum went to the art gallery to see the paintings of Mauao.

There were paintings from 1870s-2013.

The early pictures were very plain there were no buildings or trees just land.

Then through time there was more trees and some small buildings.

The more modern pictures were more detailed and more luring.

Also there was much more buildings like the harbour bridge. 

The older art was much smaller than the modern stuff maybe beacuse thay did not have as much resources.

I like the animated photos the best because you could see how it changes over a short period of time.

I think it was a good experience to learn more about Mauao.

Recycled Art Work

Homework Task

From the 7th of April to the 10th of April I created a piece of recycled art work.

I created a city out of used computer parts from my step dad's work.

I glued it together with a hot glue gun.

I liked this challenge because it was creative and simple.

Weet-Bix Tryathlon

Homework Task

On Sunday the 24 March I Completed the weet-Bix Tryathlon at Memorial Park.
I had to Firstley swim 200m Then I Biked 4km and Finaly Run 1.5km.
It was a fabtastical day and the 4th Time I have done it.

On the 8th of May I made a meal for homework it had to be a 3 course meal so I made.

Main:Mac n Cheese

Dessert:Fruit Salad

I chose this meal becase it was easy for a starter meal.

Next time I will put more fruit in the salad.

The best holiday ever

In the holidays I did nothing most of the time.But I did go to my awsome friends house were we played a racing game.I lso went on on a bush walk no literrley I walked over a bush i only got 5 scraches i also wnt to the local maic room room for the people that dont know what a manic room is it is a place were you can do flips back flips and free running
